2 component PU based construction adhesive

Soudabond 642 Duo is a high strength 2-component PU assembly adhesive, suitable for the constructional bonding of Aluminium corner angles into cover-frame and wing-frame profiles. Can also be used for bonding of metals in other applications. Suitable for pre- and post-injection systems. Always use in combination with supplied static mixer. Before use, extrude the first 20 g to assure a homogenous mixing of the two components. Functional bonding strength: 5-10h in normal conditions.

Applications

• Soudabond 642 Duo is extremely suitable for bonding of aluminium corner angles into extruded window profiles by means of post injection. Also suitable for bonding of metal in other applications

Instructions

• Apply with manual or pneumatic caulk gun (at max. 4.5 bar). Remove the cap and the shut-off valve. Place the cartridge in the caulk gun and extrude the product (without static mixer) until both components leave the cartridge. This is the best and fastest way to get homogeneous mixture of the product. Now assemble the static mixer. Do not cut off the static mixer. Apply Soudabond 642 Duo, after assembly of the aluminium window frame, by means of post injection in the respective openings.
